Adjusting the scalpers from 18 to 20 inch row-width is done hydraulic. 925 Lifter Lifter 3x3 is 9… Obviously, the lifter needs to fold-up for road transport too. This one folds up in 3 parts (3 x 3 rows) This lifter can bend down a little more then horizontal,so when the land is not flat, it can still maintain a shallow lifting depth. Each side of the lifter has it's own depth control,as well as the middle section,which has a left and right depth control, like the conventional 6-rows. Both side-sections are also provided with an automatic row finder. They can move left and right for about 15 cm (6 inches) on top of the 8 cm which each element could move already, solving the problem of beet being drilled with 6 or 12 row drills. It is even possible to lift only 6 rows, simply by lifting up the right hand side section. The shares are driven separately, by hydraulic motors, instead of v-belts. Behind the lifting shares are 3 turbines (1,35 meter on the sides and 1,85 meter in the middle) Due to the ideal turbine configuration, the beet flow is just perfect and the length of topper + lifter are nearly the same as the 6-row 17-Tonner. Hydraulic 45-50 cm (18-20 inch) row-width adjustment from the cab is optional. Other row widths are possible on request. 925 Tank Tank The ring elevator also been extended. The width is now 90 cm instead of 80 and the depth of the baskets has also increased, thus giving 50% more capacity. Tank capacity is 25 tonnes.The discharge elevator is situated behind the front wheels making it possible to lower the tank floor about 30 cm compared to other systems, effectively lowering the centre of gravity. The discharge elevator is 1,70 m wide and unloads the entire tank in approximately 40 seconds. 925 Cleaning Cleaning When we want to lift 9 rows at the same speed as a six row machine,we need to have bigger and additional turbines accordingly.That is why we have 5 big turbines behind the 3 of the lifting unit. The gates around the turbines are adjustable from the cab, and mounted in rubber silent-blocs for beet-friendly treatment,and less maintenance. Needless to say, that all the speeds of the turbines are adjustable from the cab as well. Drive This is something special: Because of the working width of 4,5 meter, we can use the same area to drive on. We accomplished this by extending the front wheels each by 50 cm. Consequently, the machine drives one wheel per track. Also, the stability of the machine is greatly improved with the wide front axle. For those who don't favour full land coverage; it is also possible to lift with the front axle kept narrow, leaving about 1 meter of ground untouched. All 4 front wheels are mounted on hydraulic cylinders,which are coupled so their weight is spread 50-50. Also it makes the wheels follow the surface perfectly. It is possible to lift the machine up 10 cm should the machine get stuck ,or lower it 10 cm for low bridges etc. All 6 wheels are driven and steered ,which gives a short turning circle of only 8 meter, despite of its size. The new Michelin radial tyres are 800-70 x 38 and have a 2.10 m. diameter. The six independent spike sections are mounted on a camshaft. As soon as this shaft is driven, the rolling spikes begin to vibrate. These vibrations help the spikes get into the ground. When the spikes are fully pushed into the soil, the vibrating spikes loosen the soil. Loosening the soil is important for reducing soil compaction and achieving healthy grass growth. It is possible to use the aerator GT210 at mowing speed, after which you can immediately play on the greens again. No disruption to players! Felt control on greens can be a stressful operation. Removing felt is usually an operation that takes a lot of time and patience. Often there is no time at all to fight thatch! It is a major operation for the grass on the greens and a green sometimes needs weeks to recover. For years, felt was removed with a scarifying machine. A scarifier is basically a rotary mower on its side, however a scarifier has a circumferential speed that is five times lower than that of a rotary mower. The pins penetrate the felt layer and because material is actually removed, the percentage of felt in the greens will quickly decrease. Because the holes heal within 2 to 3 days, the GT230 can be used very regularly, if necessary. The holes are then no longer visible and great for optimal absorption of spraying agents, fertilizers and irrigation. Ordinary scarifying cuts require a longer recovery time. The working depth can be easily adjusted by adjusting the front roller to a maximum depth of 25 mm. Various pins are available such as hollow, cross, slicer and solid pins. Easily interchangeable. This direction of rotation is the most efficient direction to clear material. The gearbox also reduces the speed of the brushes. With this lower speed, there is no longer a chance that the grass will 'burn' due to the excessive speed at which the brushes move over the grass. The brush height is easy to adjust by turning the height adjusters in or out. The machine is supplied with plastic collectors as standard (the standard greens mower collectors do not fit the GT250) Another application is brushing in sand-topdress material. The GT250 features a reversible faceplate that once flipped puts the topdress material back on the ground (directly into the aeration holes or into the grass) instead of ejecting the material into the collector. Some customers use the units to brush up the dense grass. Thanks to the fact that the brush rotates in the opposite direction, it is possible to thin out the grass slightly or to cut the grass perfectly short immediately after. Stimp value and a consistent ball roll are important issues that a greenkeeper has to deal with on a daily basis. Rollers are often used to increase the stimp value and give the greens a consistent ball roll direction. However, a roller often tends to push material forward. As soon as there is enough resistance, the roller will roll over it and leave a wavy pattern. The disadvantage of a roller is always that it will always only apply pressure in one direction to smooth out. The GT300 consists of six rounded shoes per unit that, at high speed, make a short rolling movement; they 'walk' over the green, as it were. Pressing down on the turf smoothes the whole surface, increases the stimp value and keeps it more constant, thanks to the fact that the shoes make a small stepping motion, so that the feet don't 'drag' across the green.
