Unfilled artificial Turf polluted by environmental influences such as dust, pollen and plant remains as well as other contaminants such as cigarette butts, bottle caps, etc. Without cleaning, interspersed with humus particles creates an ideal breeding ground for algae and moss. When synthetic turf is coated in algae and moss, it becomes slippery making the risk of injury is extremely high. The artificial turf cleaner SKR is designed to perform an intensive wet cleaning of the turf, and absorb the dirty water in a single operation. It has been developed as an attachment for compact and small tractors. The artificial turf cleaner consists of a cleaning attachment in the front mounted pump and a tank unit in the rear mounting. The rear tank is divided into two sections, a fresh area and a waste area. The high-pressure pump powered by the PTO shaft sucks the fresh water and forces it through hoses to the front cleaning module. The cleaning is done in the alluvial brush system using pure water without added detergents. Through an injector pump the dirty water is transported to the rear recovery tank, and moss and algae is removed from the playing surface. The tank-and-pump unit is also compatible with our synthetic track cleaner KBR front cleaning accessory.
